Happy Solstice from Trevor & Sylvie

Trevor and Sylvie’s officially informal, ridiculously serious newsletter . . .

Happy Solstice from Trevor & Sylvie!

Greetings friends!  The depths of winter are upon us and we are in the great, grey Pacific Northwest feeling light and loved.

2018 was a big year for us, and as it draws to a close we are celebrating some significant firsts.  In March we released our FIRST ALBUM, made possible by many of you.  In August we filmed our FIRST MUSIC VIDEO, which we’re officially releasing HERE AND NOW (see below)!  And two weeks ago we adopted our FIRST NEW BAND-MEMBER (see further below)!

We’re grateful to each and every one of you who came out to our shows, opened your homes to us, bought our CD’s, and became our friends.  We look forward to more music as we head back to Nashville in 2019
Sending you a little summer sun on the darkest day of the year. . .

It may be deep December, but our hearts are full of light as we share our very first music video with you!  This light-hearted and sun-drenched little ditty was filmed last August on the beautiful San Juan Island.  We hope it finds you happy, healthy, and in full bloom!  Many thanks to Aaron Wheetman for his cinematography, Helen Machin-Smith for her gorgeous garden, Pelindaba Lavender Farm for their fields full of lavender and happy bees, and Daniel Mayes for his cameo as the disgruntled gardener.  Take a few minutes to steal some flowers with us, and let us know what you think!
Our first official music video!

Trevor & Sylvie on the Move

We can’t seem to stay in one place for too long . . .

After a sunny fall spent in Southern California, we’re back in the Pacific Northwest for the holidays.  You can catch us at the Triple Door’s Musicquarium Lounge the day after Christmas, spreading the holiday cheer.  It might be our last show in the PNW for a while, so join us if you can!

In 2019 we’ll be heading back to Nashville for an extended stay.  We’ve been in and out of the recording studio over the last few months, working hard to polish a few song demos that we’re excited to shop around Music City.  We’re also looking forward to Trevor’s Southeast theatrical debut as Ralph in the Nashville Repertory Theatre’s production of Shakespeare in Love.  With new old wheels at the ready, we hope to venture beyond Tennessee to play shows in surrounding states in the Spring and early Summer.  And if we get our act together, we may be going international in the Fall!  Stay tuned!

Celebrate the season and/or recover from your holiday haze with Trevor & Sylvie and the Musicquarium’s happy hour!
December 26th, 2018.  5pm - 8pm.  Seattle’s Musicquarium Lounge
Any of the following may occur: Dickensian British accents, original Americana music, spontaneous improv holiday songs, angelic harmonies, visits with drunk Santa.

Handmade footage of music, theatre, and silliness . . .

Our officially informal, ridiculously serious newsletter wouldn’t be complete without a little fresh footage, so we’ll be sharing a new video with you each time we drop into your inbox!  We’re not promising quality, though, so lower your expectations! (wink, wink)

In today’s bonus video we’d like to introduce you to our newest band-member, Moufette!  She’s a little otter-dog skunk-poodle, and she’s already inspired many new songs, including this one:

“Moufette, Moufette, our little skunk cabbage! Moufette, Moufette, our sweet little skunk!"
Thanks so much for catching up with us!
